Maggie and Mark
Maggie was born and raised in Eastern Texas. She grew up riding and training horses with her father. They loved going on trail rides and attending Play Days in the small towns around where they lived. Maggie also attended parades, barrel races and mounted square dances for large rodeos.
Maggie later moved to Oklahoma, receiving a full-ride scholarship to play volleyball at Northwestern Oklahoma State University while studying pre-vet med. After playing volleyball for a few years, she decided to focus on schooling and her horses, so she moved to Kansas, where she continued her education and got her Bachelor's in Biology at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Afterward, Maggie worked in the human medical field at different clinical trial research facilities for a few years before finding her way back to horses as a vet tech. Currently, she works in Lawrence, KS as a veterinary technician for Kansas Center for Equine Reproduction.
Maggie currently lives in Ottawa, KS, with her boyfriend, Mark. He grew up in Southern Kansas and earned his Associate’s Degree at Hutchinson Community College. Mark is a United States Marine Corps veteran and currently works for a local law enforcement agency. Together, they spend most of their free time on trail rides, training their horses, or working on projects around their property.
